Obtaining an Auctioneer's License

Where required, affiliates are obligated to have an active auctioneers license in each state that they conduct business.  Here are some instructions on obtaining licenses in MN and WI.  

Obtaining an Auctioneer's License in MN

Step 1. You will need an auctioneer's bond of $1,000-$3,000 to apply for an auctioneers license in MN.  The amount of the bond requirement will depend on your county of residence.   Call or walk into your County Office to verify the bonding requirements.  This bond generally costs about $80 per year.

Step 2. Once you receive your auctioneers bond, you can apply for the license at your County of residence.  The license generally costs $20.  Contact your County for specific questions.  

Obtaining an Auctioneer's License in WI
