K-BID's Brand

K-BID has developed a strong reputation for conducting online auctions in an honest, transparent and user-friendly manner. Maintaining this reputation is our top priority; it serves as the platform for all corporate decision making and policies.

Prior to 2008, K-BID was responsible for conducting and managing every auction that appeared on K-BID.com. In 2008, the decision was made to expand the current business model to allow independent auction companies to use K-BID as the venue for posting their online auctions. With the advent of the Affiliate Program, K-BID surrendered some control over the assets/auctions posted on K-BID.com; but our core values and priorities remain unchanged. Independent auction companies using K-BID as their online auction venue, are required to develop and follow business practices that enhance K-BID's reputation for honesty and transparency. Failure to operate with a high level of integrity will result in terminating the affiliate relationship.

Affiliate Representation

It is the responsibility of the affiliate to inform all interested parties (consignors, bidders, vendors, etc.) that they are operating as an independent auction company and are not operating as an agent of K-BID. Any unauthorized use of K-BID's name, brand or logo is strictly prohibited.

Specifically, the use of the word "K-BID" without including "Independent Affiliate" is prohibited when identifying your company.

IMPORTANT: In any instance, the printed or written word "K-BID" is used, it must include a hyphen and be in all caps. The following examples are not allowed:

Independent Affiliate Logo

The K-BID Independent Affiliate logo is the only authorized use of the K-BID name in public displays. Any other use of K-BID's name is prohibited unless prior, written authorization has been received from K-BID management. The independent affiliate logo is available in several formats appropriate for printed and digital marketing and promotional efforts. Use of the logo requires:

the logo has a professional appearance – handwritten or painted signs are prohibited.
the color and size integrity is consistent with the provided samples.

PNG Small: 225X75 pixels, transparent background. This file type is appropriate for web use and desktop publishing applications (MS Word/Publisher).

JPG Large: 894X304 pixels, white background. This file type is appropriate for web use and desktop publishing applications (MS Word/Publisher).

PDF

Scalable EPS: A"vector" file that can only be opened with professional graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator. This file type can be scaled very large or very small without loss of quality and should be used when working with a commercial design/print company. (This file will automatically download when you click on the file name.)
