You can add new items to an auction that is managed by K-LOT, but you cannot edit an active item unless it has been halted. In the early versions of K-LOT, it is highly recommended to finalize your auction before going live to avoid interruptions.
You also cannot add, manage, or edit pictures through K-BID once an auction is using K-LOT. You must choose one system for your photos. K-LOT handles all image management for auctions assigned to it.
The great part about K-LOT is that all changes are made in real time. You can use K-Bid.com and Lot.K-Bid.com together to create a very efficient workflow.
Some example use cases:
Create your lots in K-LOT and use K-Bid.com to bulk set Consignor, Category, and Starting Price.
Create lots via spreadsheet in K-Bid.com and take all of your photos in K-LOT.
Use K-LOT to create your lots and make quick text or attribute changes through K-Bid.com.
If you need to add items to an active auction, create the lots in K-LOT. They will remain in the pending state until you publish them through K-BID.
Steps to add items to an active auction:
Log in to K-LOT via the web or mobile app.
Click on the Live Auction you want to add items to.
Create the new lots by selecting Create Lot.
Go to K-BID.com, edit your auction, and click Save, then click Publish to activate the new items.
